Laketown Landing is a large, private, 1,800 square feet condo attached to a home that is spread across two levels. It is located close to Lakes Michigan and Macatawa (less than a mile to each of them) and is less than 15-minute drive to the picturesque downtowns of Holland, Saugatuck and Douglas. A handful of Lake Michigan beaches are also just a 10 to 20-minute drive away.
The main level has a large living room, kitchen, dining table, master bedroom with a king bed, one bathroom and a spare bedroom with a queen bed.
The lower level has a large bedroom beyond the door at the foot of the stairs with a queen sofa sleeper and a day bed and a trundle. There is also a spare bathroom; another bedroom with a king bed and a sleeper; and utility room where the washer and dryer are located. There is not a separate thermostat zone for the basement, and it runs about 10 degrees cooler as the main level.
A deck with a four-person dining set and a two-person bistro set is accessible off the kitchen through sliding glass doors. Steps from the deck lead to a spacious outdoor patio that has additional seating, a propane firepit table and a Weber grill! Both the patio and the deck are adorned with color-changing café lights and surrounded by a wooden fence for privacy.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay! Mark and Eric were great hosts; clear communication and instructions for everything we needed to know. The house was pristine and lovely, and it was exactly what we needed for a mini getaway. If we are ever fortunate enough to make our way back to Holland, I will be booking the Laketown Landing again!

Summary: Even though a storm took the power out for 24 hours we made the best of it. The home was clean. The hosts were easy to reach and very nice. I would stay again.

Summary: We stayed here for my son‘s wedding. We rented the place for the week of the wedding loved everything about it. Love that it had all of the necessities that you need was glad that I could bring my fur babies. Eric and Mark were wonderful to deal with. Made us feel very comfortable. I would definitely rent this place again. The beds were very, very comfortable and I like the whole downstairs where the kids could hang out Neighbors are awesome too. thank you for making our stay like we were at home. 😊 Sonia, Dennis and Nick Kochan

Summary: We so enjoyed Mark and Eric’s laketown landing during a hard time for our family. We love Holland and the lakefront. Unfortunately this visit was for a funeral, but being able to come home to comfortable beds, a great outdoor space, and a clean environment made the lodging portion of our trip a breeze. Will definitely stay here again.

Summary: The property was good, nice place to stay. There were more do not rules than I was used to in a VRBO house, but this did not cause any problems with the stay. I really appreciated that the hosts refunded the pet fee when my dog didn't make the trip.
